After three incredible months in the Big Apple, the New York Fashion Tech Labs programme that we have been a part of came to its end this week, in the form of a graduation/demo day style event.

Our Founder, Karoline, took to the stage in the new Time Inc HQ and shared the story of Smartzer and its business model with a roomful of investors and retailers. We are so proud and feel very fortunate to be a part of an incubator programme that aims to accelerate opportunities for female founders and their companies. We really do feel as though our product can help retailers, and in fact all kinds of businesses and brands. So, to be a part of something that also recognises our technology as innovative and worthwhile means a great deal. It was a very exciting moment for us to share our story with the audience.
All of the feedback and comments regarding our product and what we are doing for the retail industry was extremely positive. So, we would like to say a massive THANKS to all of those that shared their thoughts and kind words. We have had an absolutely incredible time being a part of the NYFTL. We will take the opportunities we have been given to push our tech forwards and continue to encourage innovation within the retail industry. We hope to prove that shoppable technology is the future of video content marketing.

We must be on a lucky streak because we have now been shortlisted for the Retail Week Tech and Ecomms Awards 2016! Our work with Marks & Spencer has been nominated in the category ‘Digital Customer Experience of the Year’ and we feel very lucky to be included for this collaboration. It especially means so much as we are constantly striving to provide an even better online customer experience, and ensure everybody can shop in a quick, easy and seamless manner.
We had a great experience working with one of the UK’s biggest and most treasured high street retailers, so to be recognised for our work with them is really great.
