Smartzer is excited to share their second collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover and reveal how our technology has taken the unveiling of the Jaguar E-Pace to a new level across 11 markets in the Middle East. Smartzer’s interactive video player was included in the interactive ad unit built by Exponential.

The interactive overlay provided by Smartzer services allows customers to see for themselves how the car combines looks, agility, and dynamic driving by providing further information with just one click. Within the video Smartzer’s unique interactive technology allows luxury car enthusiasts and clients to explore the car’s beautiful panoramic glass roof, powered gesture tailgate and Ingenium engine to give a taste of what this new model offers. The video also links directly to the Jaguar website to offer even further exploration of the vehicIe and the opportunity to book a test drive directly from the ad campaign.

Here at Smartzer we are extremely proud to have the iconic Jaguar brand employ our services once again, following on from the success of the Range Rover Velar campaign. The previous campaign showed engagement rates increased 20 times following on from Smartzer’s interactive addition to the video; this result has been echoed with the launch of the Jaguar E-Pace video, proving once again the relevance, versatility and value of the Smartzer platform for companies as well as consumers.

Smartzer founder Karoline Gross was recently interviewed by the women in tech, venture capital and entrepeneurship publication Femstreet, and featured on the online platform of Medium, designed for innovative ideas and original perspectives.

Described at the ‘future of video shopping’ Karoline presents the tough yet rewarding reality of creating a company as unique as Smartzer - from taking inspiration from the success of online video streaming to the challenges of funding and leading a team, and understanding the necessity to start small with room for growth in an ever evolving field.

Karoline expressed her desire to help both providers and consumers, to influence the advertising industry in its own transparency alongside providing brands with a more accurate understanding of what their audience want whilst strengthening consumer accessibility. Karoline hinted at how this is becoming more of a reality daily as Smartzer is working on the launch and implementation of a more scalable and repeatable business model to ensure the dream of Smartzer becoming an everything apart from video production service for everyone to access.

Last week Harvey Nichols launched a shoppable video campaign featuring the beautiful new collection by Chloé.


The shoppable video is positioned directly on the Harvey Nichols homepage, where viewers have the option to interact and shop from the video, by clicking on items that the model clothes. It is a perfect example to show the seamless transition from the video to product, and allows the user to enjoy the interactive experience.


The Smartzer tech was the perfect pairing for Harvey Nichols campaign video because of our subtle and bespoke player and seamless engagement.
